What Phantom Blade Zero Has Officially Confirmed
A dated disclosure status for Phantom Blade Zero: confirmed bosses, characters, weapons, locations, systems, and facts not yet revealed.
What is officially known right now?
As of October 20, 2026, Phantom Blade Zero has an official release date, platforms, prices, PC requirements, story premise, combat outline, weapon counts, several named characters and places, and five specifically named boss or encounter-phase entries.
The launch guide records the release and hardware facts, and the combat guide covers Sha-Chi and KungfuPunk. What is left is the boundary.
Which bosses and phases are officially named?
The approved sources name these five entries and no others:
- Mó Yuan — Leader of the Bastion of Mó and Soul’s father.
- Seven Stars — one encounter involving seven swordsmen.
- Seven Stars Sword Formation — phase one of Seven Stars.
- String Puppet — phase two of Seven Stars.
- The Hunt — Soul’s former comrade, fought on a speeding wagon in the opening.
This is not a complete launch roster. It is the complete set of names permitted by the supplied first-party source boundary. S-GAME has also asked press not to name some shown bosses, which is a reason to preserve the gap rather than fill it from screenshots.
Which characters and real people are confirmed?
Soul is the protagonist and only playable character currently confirmed. Mó Yuan is Soul’s father and an in-game character.
Donnie Yen is a real actor and Creative Consultant who performs Mó Yuan through facial and motion capture. Qiwei “Soulframe” Liang is S-GAME’s founder and game director. They are production contributors, not additional in-game characters.
What is known about weapons?
S-GAME confirms over 30 primary weapons and more than 20 unique Phantom Edges, acquired from defeated foes. Liang says each weapon is bound to a boss, producing at least 50 bosses. The weapons page explains the relationship.
No individual weapon has been named. That leaves one systems-level weapons page rather than a page per weapon.
Which locations or world terms are named?
Official material names Pangzhen Township, the Wulin, Memory Flowers, the Discordance, Transcension, the Lady of the Veil, and Inanis’ Dreamscape. Pangzhen Township is a rain-drenched location rebuilt with DLSS 4 and ray tracing from scans of ancient Chinese towns; it descends from the hand-drawn Pang Town in Rainblood.
The other terms are named by official store copy but not sufficiently defined in the supplied material for confident standalone location guides. A name is not a complete map entry.
What is still unrevealed
The following are not available as complete, verified lists:
- the full boss roster;
- individual weapon names and the full weapon roster;
- endings;
- maps;
- achievements.
The “300,000+ pre-orders” figure is a third-party estimate, not an S-GAME figure, and is not presented here as official. The full rosters will populate after launch or earlier official disclosure, with source links and verification dates attached.
